Mishi Foltyn is an artist, curator and writer based in Trondheim working with the transformative social potential of art through large format installation, drawing, and relational performance. Connected to political contexts, her works act as temporary environments that shift our experience of the world in critical and playful ways.
She holds an MFA from the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art, a BFA in studio art and art history from Concordia University (CA), and two post master’s in interdisciplinary curatorial practices in public space from HDK-Valand (SE) and the Royal Institute of Art (SE). She is the current board leader of Trøndelag Bildende kunstnere and curator at Rogaland kunstsenter.
